Major protest march planned in Nagpur for old pension scheme

Nagpur, Dec 11 (UNI) A huge protest march is set to take place in Nagpur on Friday demanding the restoration of the old pension scheme for government employees.
The demonstration has been organised by the Old Pension Scheme organisation to draw the attention of the MLAs during the ongoing winter session of the Maharashtra Legislature.
The demonstration called the Pension People’s Revolution March, aims to press for reinstating the old pension system for all government and semi-government officers, employees, teachers and non-teaching staff who joined service after November 1, 2005. State President of the pensioners body Vitesh Khandekar will lead the agitation.
