BJP’s Ban slams Uddhav faction on farmer relief

Mumbai, Oct 9 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party Media Cell Chief Navnath Ban today criticized Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders Uddhav Thackeray and Sanjay Raut, saying that after the Mahayuti government, led by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, announced a historic relief package of Rs 31,628 crore for farmers affected by excessive rains, Sanjay Raut and the Uddhav faction have been losing sleep.
He was speaking at a press conference held at the BJP state office today.
Mr. Ban noted that since yesterday, direct financial aid has begun reaching farmers’ bank accounts. He added that the BJP-led Mahayuti government and the central government will continue to stand firmly behind the farmers.
