Sunetra Pawar Meets CM Devendra Fadnavis Amid Baramati Bypoll Buzz; Mahayuti Strategy in Focus

Mumbai, Apr 8 ( UNI) Deputy Chief Minister and NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) candidate for the Baramati Assembly by-election, Sunetra Pawar, met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the Varsha bungalow on Wednesday. She was accompanied by her son Parth Pawar, NCP state president Sunil Tatkare, and minister Hasan Mushrif.
The meeting lasted for nearly an hour and was officially described as a courtesy visit. However, political observers believe that a special strategy for the Baramati by-election may have been discussed by the Mahayuti alliance. Attention is now focused on the possible new political equations that the BJP and the NCP might present to secure victory in the constituency.
According to sources, Fadnavis assured Sunetra Pawar and Parth Pawar of strong support. He reportedly stated that the BJP would stand firmly behind them as the “big brother” in the bypoll and extend all necessary assistance to ensure Sunetra Pawar’s victory.
