Action will be taken against erring officials for delay in Kundmala bridge repair: BJP

Mumbai, June 17 ( UNI) BJP's state executive president Ravindra Chavan said on Tuesday that action would be taken against officials for delaying the repair of Kundmala bridge that collapsed and resulted in the death of four people and injuries to many people.
Addressing press conference here on Tuesday, Chavan said the accident in which the pedestrian bridge at Kundmala on the Indrayani river was washed away due to heavy rains was very sad and the Mahayuti government stood firmly with the families of the deceased and the injured.
He said If there is any deliberate delay in the repair work of this bridge, strict action would be taken against the officials concerned, Chavan said.
