Fadnavis Unveils BJP Vision for Civic Polls, 25-Year Development Roadmap Promised for City

Ch. Sambhajinagar, Jan 9 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis released the Bharatiya Janata Party manifesto on Friday for the upcoming Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation elections, pledging to transform the city into a developed, secure, clean and employment-oriented urban centre.
The manifesto was unveiled at a programme held in the Chikalthana industrial area in the presence of state minister Atul Save, MP Bhagwat Karad, local MLAs and senior BJP leaders.
Addressing the gathering, Fadnavis said the document presents a 25-year long-term vision aimed at ensuring balanced and sustainable growth of the city. According to the manifesto, the BJP has promised major infrastructure projects including a flyover to cross Jalna Road, a continuous flyover connecting Chikalthana to Waluj, and efforts to bring Metro rail connectivity on corridors such as Shendra–Waluj and Bidkin–Harsul Neo. A new Ring Road, pothole-free roads, enhanced beautification works and solar-powered street lighting across all areas have also been proposed. The party has also committed to establishing the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Metro Regional Development Authority to streamline urban planning.
