Maha: Minister Rane rejects comparison with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, CM

Kolhapur, Sindhudurg, Apr 4 (UNI) Maharashtra minister and BJP MLA Nitesh Rane, while addressing the controversy surrounding comparisons made between him and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by a religious leader, today rejected the same.
While expressing his displeasure on a statement by Jain Muni Nikeshchabdra, he asserted that "Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj cannot be compared to anyone and this is not acceptable."
Jain Muni Nikeshchabdra had suggested Rane should become the chief minister of the state and his stature is similar to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
