Got EC clearance to accept donation under section 29B: NCP-SP

Mumbai, July 8 (UNI) The Election Commission on Monday permitted the NCP Sharad Chandra Pawar to accept donations to the party under Section 29B.
On behalf of the NCP Sharad Chandra Pawar, a demand was made to the Central Election Commission to let the party accept donations as per Article 29B like other parties.
After hearing the application during the day, the Election Commission gave the go-ahead to thE Sharad Pawar-led party, said its working president and MP Supriya Sule.
