Mumbai senior citizen jumps off seventh floor

Mumbai, May 14 (UNI) A senior citizen committed suicide after jumping from the seventh floor of a building in Dahisar area of Mumbai suburban, police said here on Wednesday.
Police sources said the woman, Merlin Menona, 72, lived alone after her husband's death six months ago. .
She took the extreme step on Tuesday afternoon and left a suicide note stating that she was ending her life due to her illness, as she had been mentally disturbed.

Nagpur, Feb 6 (UNI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said that the Naxal-affected Gadchiroli district in Vidarbha will soon shed its troubled identity and emerge as the “Green Steel Hub of India.”
