Nagpur: Bomb threat email triggers security scare at RSS headquarters

Nagpur, June 10 (UNI): Amid a spate of similar threats reported in Mumbai and Pune, Nagpur Mayor Neeta Thakre on Wednesday received an email claiming that explosives had been planted at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in the city, triggering an immediate security response by police and allied agencies.
Officials said extensive searches at the identified locations yielded no suspicious object or explosive material.
According to police, the threatening email claimed that bombs had been planted at the RSS headquarters in Mahal and Dr Hedgewar Smruti Bhavan in Reshimbagh.
