Maha: Young man remanded to 7-day police custody

Kolhapur / Raigad, Jul 31 (UNI) A Sessions court at Panvel in Raigad district on Wednesday remanded a young man to police custody for seven days in connection with Yashashree Shinde murder case of last week.
Additional superintendent of police of Raigad, Deepak Sakore, said that accused Dawood Sheikh, who was arrested from neighbouring Karnataka on Monday, was produced before the Sessions court at Panvel, which remanded him to seven days police custody.
He further said that during questioning, accused Dawood confessed to having committed brutal murder of Yashashree (20) and then dumped her body near Uran railway station in Raigad district on Saturday last.
