Final Phase Progresses on Ahilyanagar–Beed–Parli Railway Line

Beed, Dec 4 (UNI) The final phase of work on the new Ahilyanagar–Beed–Parli railway line is underway, with the Central Railway preparing for a series of critical tests in the Beed–Vadwani section.
Engine testing is scheduled for December 6, 2025, followed by the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) inspection and required speed tests on December 10 and 11. High-speed trial runs will take place between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on both days.
Railway officials have urged residents of Beed district to cooperate fully during the testing period to ensure operational safety. Citizens have been advised to avoid entering or approaching the railway track area, to prevent cattle from straying near the tracks and to refrain from crossing the line at unauthorised locations.
