'Ekta Pad Yatra' held to mark Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's 150th birth anniversary in Ch. Sambhajinagar

Ch. Sambhajinagar, Oct 31 (UNI) The commemoration of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 150th birth anniversary through the Ekta Pad Yatra reaffirmed India’s commitment to safeguarding its territorial integrity and political unity.
Maharashtra's Minister for Other Backward Classes, Bahujan Welfare and Non-Conventional Energy, Atul Save, underscored the "immeasurable contributions made by Sardar Patel during the independence movement and his pivotal work in forging a cohesive nation following partition." The minister emphasised that all citizens must steadfastly uphold the principles of national integration and togetherness.
Organised under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the yatra concluded at the Shahganj memorial to Patel in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, where Minister Save addressed participants.
