Controversy on involvement of 1993 Mumbai blasts convict in campaigning for Sena-UBT candidate

Mumbai, May 9 (UNI) The involvement of 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts convict in campaigning for Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate from Mumbai North-West Lok Sabha constituency, Amol G Kirtikar -- son of Gajanan Kirtikar, who belongs to the Chief Minister Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena -- has created a controversy.
A video which shows terror accused Ibrahim Musa alias Baba Chouhan seeking votes for Sena (UBT) candidate, went viral on social media.
This has attracted strong reactions and comments accusing opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) candidates of supporting terrorists who killed Mumbaikars, and hence, “this (electoral) battle is not only a fight between nationalist forces and divisive gangs but also between India-Pakistan”.

Mumbai, May 13 (UNI) To reach the goal of increasing the country's nuclear power generation to 100 gigawatts by 2047, every state needs to create special zones for generating green energy and achieve ‘net zero emissions, said Union Power Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday.
