Maha: Justice Khanna addresses 3rd graduation ceremony of National Law University in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Sep 16 (UNI) The role of lawyers is significant with regards to enhancing the public's confidence in the justice system by creating legal awareness among the masses, asserted Supreme Court Justice Sanjiv Khanna on Monday.
Addressing the third graduation ceremony of the Maharashtra National Law University here as the chief guest, he said, "After graduating in Law, one can directly relate to the judiciary. It is our responsibility to maintain and increase the faith of society in the judiciary. It is also our responsibility to create awareness among the people about the law and make them aware of their rights."
Emphasising on the use of technology in advocacy, he said that this possibility has increased due to artificial intelligence and thus the work of lawyers will also become technical, he pointed.
