Thousands pay homage to Dr Ambedkar at Deekshabhoomi on Mahaparinirvan Din

Nagpur, Dec 6(UNI) Nagpur witnessed a large turnout on Saturday as devotees and admirers of B. R. Ambedkar gathered at Deekshabhoomi to commemorate his Mahaparinirvan Din, the death anniversary of the revered leader and architect of the Indian Constitution.
Crowds, dressed in symbolic white and carrying flags bearing the Five Precepts (Panchsheel), paid floral tributes, offered prayers and reaffirmed their commitment to his ideals of social justice, equality and dignity.
The atmosphere at the sacred stupa was a blend of solemnity and solidarity.
