Maha: Meeting to discuss hike in milk rate to be held on June 29

Mumbai, Jun 27 (UNI) An important meeting of milk project representatives and milk-producing farmers will be held on Saturday at Maharashtra Assembly, under the chairmanship of State Animal Husbandry & Dairy Development Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil, to discuss issue of hike in milk price.
The representatives of private and cooperative milk federations of the state, of milk producing farmers will attend this meeting, said Prashant Mohod, commissioner of Dairy Development Department, on Thursday.
In this meeting, farmers' problems will be discussed in detail, he said and informed that the report of this meeting will be submitted before the Cabinet.
