Congress MLA Jayshree Jadhav joins Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena

Kolhapur, Oct 31 (UNI) In a setback to the Congress, party's MLA from Kolhapur-North Jayashree Jadhav on Thursday joined Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde led Shiv Sena in Mumbai.
Shinde was present when Jadhav joined his party after the Congress denied her the ticket for the Kolhapur-North constituency in the upcoming Assembly polls..
Jadhav, widow of late Congress MLA Chandrakant Jadhav, was elected as an MLA from the seat after the death of her husband.
However, she could not get Congress' nomination from the seat this time around as the grand old party has fielded Madhurima Raje Chhatrapati, daughter-in-law of Congress MP Shahu Chhatrapati. UNI SSS SSP

Mumbai, May 12 (UNI) BJP leader and former MP Navneet Rana and MLA Ravi Rana have received death threats from Pakistan, sources in Mumbai police said here on Monday.
Khar police station has registered an offence and have initiated an investigation, since the threat originated internationally, the Mumbai Police may need to seek assistance from central agencies, sources added.
