Now Maha Cong leader does a Pakistan on BJP

Mumbai, May 10 (UNI) Maharashtra Congress leader and state unit spokesperson has called out the "Pakistan" poll propaganda of the BJP, reminding them that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi had rushed to enjoy Birthday Biryani across the border, his predecessor Indira Gandhi had carved out Bangladesh bringing Islamabad to its knees.
Pooh-poohing BJP's recent allegations against Congress accusing the grand old party of being a Pakistan sympathiser, Gopal Tiwari said on Friday, "Modi rushed to Pakistan to eat birthday biryani while on the other hand, the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi created Bangladesh by dividing Pakistan."
Terming the recent advertisements issued by the BJP against Congress leaders as false, totally devoid of reason, defamatory, childish and ridiculous at a press conference, Tiwari accused PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadanavis of resorting to tarnishing Congress' image to make electoral gains.
He retorted that several events during Modi's tenure have shown that the BJP is the real sympathiser of the Pakistan state.
He highlighted Director of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Pradip Kurulkar's alleged links with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Kurulkar was arrested after it came to light that he had leaked information about India’s defence research including the Brahmos Missile technology to Pakistan.
Tiwari asked what action was taken and when would sedition charges be slapped against him.
He raised several other incidents including the Pathankot terror attack, Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence being allowed to visit the Pathankot air force base, demonetisation that did not end money in terrorists hand.
He reminded that the then Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Davinder Singh was caught ferrying terrorists, and asked what action had been taken in the case and why responsibility for the Pulwama terror attack was never fixed.
He also raised question as to who had ruined Indian farmers by granting permission to import onion from Pakistan.

Tiwari said it was clear whose victory would be celebrated in Pakistan.
