In 2027, India will be world's 3rd-largest economy: Amitabh Kant

Pune, July 12 (UNI) India will be the third-largest economy in the world by 2027, Amitabh Kant, G20 Sherpa, said on Friday.
Kant said India's big advantage is its youngvdemographic age. The average age of Indians is 29 years, and by 2047 it will be only 35 years.
"The demographics are in India's favour. To transform India fast, its young population has to be appropriately used," he said, delivering a lecture at the Symbiosis International (Deemed University).
