Advantage Vidarbha 2026: Nagpur to host grand industrial Expo from Feb 6–8

Nagpur, Jan 18 (UNI) The Association for Industrial Development (AID) will host the third edition of the Advantage Vidarbha 2026 – Khasdar Audyogik Mahotsav at the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University Campus from February 6 to 8.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday, union Minister Nitin Gadkari, who conceptualised the event, said the three-day industrial festival is aimed at positioning Vidarbha as a strong and emerging hub on India’s industrial map under the theme “Empowering Growth.”
The event will feature a grand industrial exhibition with more than 350 stalls, including around 100 dedicated to MSMEs and 40 representing districts across Vidarbha. Participation is expected from Defence Public Sector Units, major financial institutions such as SEBI, BSE, NSE, MCX and NCDEX and companies across key sectors including textiles, plastics, aviation, logistics, healthcare, renewables and startups. A dedicated patent gallery will be among the key attractions.

Gadchiroli to be developed as India’s Green Steel Hub: Fadnavis

Nagpur, Feb 6 (UNI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said that the Naxal-affected Gadchiroli district in Vidarbha will soon shed its troubled identity and emerge as the “Green Steel Hub of India.”
