Maha: Minister Bawankule directs discontinuation of 7/12 extracts for Gaothans

Nashik, May 6 (UNI) Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule today issued directives to discontinue the issuance of 7/12 land extracts for lands located in areas—specifically villages—that have been newly incorporated into the limits of various municipalities and municipal corporations across the state due to boundary expansions.
Furthermore, he has directed that 'Property Cards' (Property Ownership Records) be prepared and issued to the residents of these areas for their respective landholdings. This decision is expected to provide significant relief to citizens residing in areas that have now been integrated into urban limits.
He gave these directions at a meeting held at Mantralaya (State Secretariat) under the chairmanship of Revenue Minister Bawankule.
