Tennis Premier League: Delhi Aces beat Chennai Smashers

Ahmedabad, Dec 10 (UNI) Day two of the Tennis Premier League (TPL) Season 7 witnessed fiercely contested matches at the Gujarat University Tennis Stadium, with GS Delhi Aces and SG Pipers Bengaluru claiming contrasting results in closely fought ties.
In the opening clash, GS Delhi Aces edged past Chennai Smashers 56-44. Belgian star Sofia Costoulas continued her impressive form, winning the Women’s Singles 17- 8 against Irina Bara before teaming up with Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan to clinch the Mixed Doubles 16-9.
Chennai Smashers’ Dalibor Svrcina managed a narrow 13-12 victory over Billy Harris in Men’s Singles, while the Svrcina-Bollipalli duo also won the Men’s Doubles 14-11.
