BCCI president describes Ranji title win as symbol of long-term development in region

Hubballi, Feb 28 (UNI) The historic Ranji Trophy campaign of Jammu and Kashmir has been hailed as a landmark achievement, with Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) leadership describing the victory as a symbol of long-term cricketing development in the region.
Speaking in a post-match interaction, Mithun Manhas, President of the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association, said the journey toward success has been “amazing,” tracing the team’s development process since June 2021 with sustained institutional support.
Manhas expressed gratitude to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) leadership, particularly former secretary Jay Shah, for visiting Jammu after a gap of 67 years and providing crucial administrative and developmental support.
