India Open 2026: Lakshya beats Kenta in straight games to reach QF's

New Delhi, Jan 15(UNI) India' s highest ranked men's singles player Lakshya Sen beat Japan's Nishimoto kenta to reach the quarter finals of the Yonex Sunrise India Open 2026 at the Indira Gandhi stadium here on Thursday.
Paris Olympics semi finalist Lakshya Sen suffered early jitters in the first game and fell behind at the start but found his mojo to win convincingly in the end.
After falling being 14-18 in the first game Lakshya rallied to take first game 21-19.

Leeds fight back to hold Chelsea at home

London, Feb 11 (UNI) Chelsea’s push for a top-four finish suffered a setback as Leeds United staged a spirited comeback to secure a 2-2 draw in their Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.
The hosts appeared in control after establishing a two-goal lead, but Leeds responded strongly in the second half to earn a point and climb to 15th in the standings, moving above Tottenham Hotspur, as per the Premier League website.
Chelsea, who had won their previous four league matches, missed the chance to close the gap on fourth-placed Manchester United.
