New Delhi, Oct 10 (UNI) Yashasvi Jaiswal joined an elite group of cricketers who have scored seven Test centuries before turning 24, including legends Don Bradman, Sachin Tendulkar, and Garfield Sobers, as he anchored India to a commanding position against the West Indies on Day 1 of the Delhi Test.
The Mumbai opener remained unbeaten on 104 off 148 balls, combining patience, precision, and flair that had the fans on its feet. From the moment he stepped onto the crease, Jaiswal displayed composure beyond his years, carefully rotating the strike, finding gaps, and punishing loose deliveries with textbook timing.
His century was brought up with a stylish backward square leg flick, followed by a raised bat and kisses to the home spectators — a classic cricketing moment that showcased both skill and temperament.
