Dharamshala Marathon 2025 on Dec 25 gets go-ahead; traffic arrangements announced

Dharamshala, Dec 24 (UNI) Deputy Commissioner of Kangra, Hemraj Bairwa, has granted permission for the Dharamshala Marathon-2025, set to be held on December 25 as part of the Kangra Valley Carnival-2025, exercising powers under Section 115 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
The marathon will take place from 6 am to 2 pm, with the route starting and concluding at SAI Stadium, Dharamshala. It will pass through Chilgadi, Circuit House, Maximus Mall, Kotwali Bazaar, Kand, Khaniyara, Rakkad, Fatehpur, Sidhabadi, Dadi, and ITI.
The Deputy Commissioner said the district police will make adequate traffic arrangements to ensure public safety and smooth vehicular movement during the event. He appealed to the general public to cooperate with traffic management, follow route diversions and instructions issued by the administration to ensure the marathon is conducted smoothly and peacefully.
