India’s wrestlers shine at Asian Youth Games 2025, clinch seven medals

Manama (Bahrain), Oct 30 (UNI) India’s wrestling contingent wrapped up a dominant campaign at the Asian Youth Games 2025 with a flurry of medals, as Moni and Jaiveer Singh clinched golds at the Exhibition World Bahrain in Manama.
According to the Olympics.com, Jaiveer Singh, competing in the boys’ 55kg freestyle division, produced a stellar run to the top yesterday.
After registering a commanding 10-0 wins over Sri Lanka’s Nimesh Dulanjana and Cambodia’s Phann Chan Ou Dom, Jaiveer edged Iran’s Yasin Zarezadeh on criteria in a tight quarter final.
