Australian football chief executive James Johnson resigns

Sydney, May 8 (UNI) Football Australia (FA) on Thursday announced that James Johnson has resigned as chief executive officer after more than five years in the role.
In a statement, Johnson said that it has been a "privilege" to lead the governing body.
"As someone who is immensely passionate about Australian football, this decision has not come easy, but I believe the time is right to step down," he said.

Shillong, June 21 (UNI) Wankyrmen L Mawphlang and Filinza Hansepi won the open men's and women's events respectively at the 6th Shillong 10K Run 2025, organised by the Meghalaya State Olympic Association here on Saturday.
The annual race is held on a Saturday nearest to 23 June, which is observed as International Olympic Day, to mark the foundation of the International Olympic Committee in 1894.
