Treesa, Gopichand reach Canada Open 2024 quarterfinals

Calgary (Canada), July 5 (UNI) The air in Calgary was electric on Thursday, as the badminton courts at the Markin-MacPhail Centre buzzed with the excitement of the Canada Open 2024.
Among the many battles fought, one match stood out as a testament to determination and skill - the women's doubles clash featuring India's Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand against the Danish-Dutch duo of Natasja Anthonisen and Alyssa Tirtosentono.
Treesa and Gayatri, bronze medalists from the 2022 Commonwealth Games, entered the court with a calm confidence. However, the first game saw them grappling to find their rhythm.
