Indian campaign ends at Indonesia Masters 2025

Jakarta, Jan 23 (UNI) India's run at the Indonesia Masters 2025 came to an end on Thursday as the nation’s badminton players, including prominent pairs Chirag Shetty-Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Lakshya Sen, bowed out in the second round of the tournament.
Asian Games champions Chirag-Satwik faced an unexpected defeat against Thailand’s Kittinupong Kedren and Dechapol Puavaranukroh.
Despite being ranked ninth in the men’s doubles standings, the Indian duo lost 22-20, 23-21 to their world No. 75 opponents. The match lasted 50 minutes, with Chirag-Satwik squandering three game points in the first game and two in the second.
