The match began with an early setback for Australia as the in-form Beth Mooney (2) fell shortly after the innings commenced.
With the pressure mounting, Australia made a bold move by promoting Georgia Wareham to number three, but her stint was short-lived, lasting just one ball. Had she opted for a review on the LBW decision, she might have continued her innings.
