Incessant heavy rains lash Chennai, several TN districts, bring relief from peak summer heat, LP area form in 48 hrs, more showers likely

Chennai, May 9 (UNI) Incessant raons, with heavy at times, lashed several parts of Tamil Nadu, including, North, south and Cauvery delta and Western Ghat regions bringing the much needed respite from the peak summer heat, even as Low Pressure was likely form over the Bay in the next 48 hrs, which would bring more showers for the next five days.
The heavy rains, which lashed in spells right from wee hours of saturday, left several parts of Chennai City waterlogged, causing hardships to roadusers.
Traffic snarls were witnessed in many areas and vehicles moved at a snail's pce putting office-goers to a lot of inconvenience.
