Well-marked low-pressure to intensify into depression in next 36 hours: Met

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), Aug 30 (UNI) The low-pressure area over Westcentral & adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal off North Andhra Pradesh & South Odisha moved west-north-westwards and became a well-marked Low pressure area over the same region at 0830 hours on Friday, Meteorological Centre said.
In a daily weather report here, it said that the well-marked low-pressure areas is likely to move further west-north-westwards towards north Andhra Pradesh and adjoining south Odisha coasts, intensify into a depression over Westcentral and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal during the next 36 hours.
The southwest monsoon has been normal in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema.
