Telangana govt allocates Rs 1000cr in budget to develop Musi river

Hyderabad, Feb 10 (UNI) The Telangana government, in the 2024–25 budget, allocated Rs 1000 crore to develop ‘Musi River’ into a tourist attraction.
Presenting a vote on the account budget for 2024–25 in the state assembly on Saturday, Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said that we have put in place an action plan not only to clean the Musi River but also to develop its catchment area as an employment generation region.
We are taking immediate measures to revive the Musi River, clean it, and develop its riverfront," he said. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, during his recent visit to London, paid a visit to the Thames River Front and met the officials there to examine the functioning of the Thames River Front.
