Telangana: Rescue operations in SLBC tunnel site continue for 18th day

Hyderabad, Mar 11 (UNI) Rescue operations in the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel in Nagarkurnool district have been ongoing for the 18th consecutive day on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, railway workers are engaged in cutting the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), while rat miners and Singareni workers are digging at points D1 and D2 in search of the missing workers. Progress has been made in identifying the missing individuals.
Sniffer dogs have detected traces of the workers, and rescue teams are currently excavating at locations identified by Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and the dogs, official sources reported.
