Telangana: 2 to 3 days to take to assess condition of 8 people trapped in SLBC tunnel collapse

Nagarkurnool ), Mar 2 (UNI) Another two to three days will take to assess the condition of the eight people trapped in the Srisailam left Bank Canal (SLBC) Tunnel since the collapse of the roof on Feb 22.
Addressing the press after visiting the SLBC Tunnel and reviewing the progress in the rescue operations at Domalapenta here, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, said that the officials said that it will take another two to three days to resolve this issue. The conveyor belt has been damaged, making it difficult to remove slush and soil mounds inside the tunnel.
It will be easier to remove soil once the conveyor belt is repaired by tomorrow, he said the authorities have not yet fully assessed where the 8 people are trapped inside and the missionary was damaged.
