Emotional farewell for Telangana DGP Jitender; Shivdhar Reddy to take charge

Hyderabad, Sept 30 (UNI) A grand farewell ceremony was organised today for Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) Dr Jitender at the Telangana Police Academy.
The outgoing DGP, who completed a 15-month tenure marked by reforms and citizen-centric policing, was given a ceremonial salute by the police.
Visibly moved, Dr Jitender broke down while recalling the personal sacrifices made during his service. “My mother passed away recently. I lost both my parents and had to stay away from my family due to work. I am grateful to my wife and children who stood by me and supported me,” he said, with tears in his eyes.
