Telangana bus tragedy: CM condoles, orders transfer of injured to Hyderabad for advanced treatment

Hyderabad, Nov 3 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy today expressed grief over the tragic road accident in Rangareddy district, in which at least 18 passengers lost their lives. The incident occurred early this morning when a gravel-laden tipper truck, coming from the opposite direction, rammed into a state-owned RTC bus on the Mirjaguda–Khanapur road near Chevella.
The Chief Minister directed senior officials to immediately reach the accident site in Chevella mandal and carry out urgent relief and rescue measures and update him from time to time. He instructed Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao and DGP Ravi Gupta to shift all injured passengers to Hyderabad for advanced medical treatment and to personally monitor the situation.
Revanth Reddy also ordered that special arrangements be made at Gandhi and Osmania hospitals to provide the best possible medical care. “Emergency medical assistance must be ensured to save every life. Deploy adequate ambulances and medical staff,” he instructed, emphasizing that the situation be treated as a health emergency.
