AP CM announces Rs 2.5 Cr. reward, Group- I post to World Cup Woman cricketer Shree Charani

Vijayawada, Nov 7 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced a reward of Rs 2.5 crore and 1,000 square yards residential plot to Women cricket World Cup winning team member Shree Charani. Moreover, the Chief Minister also offered her ‘Group-I’ post.

Shree Charani met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh at the camp office at Undavalli near here on Friday.

Freedom fighter Etukuri Krishnamurthy, 104, continues to receive pension, a rare honour in Telugu states

Hyderabad, Dec 15 (UNI) Freedom fighter and former Revenue Department employee Etukuri Krishnamurthy has earned a rare distinction by becoming the only person in the two Telugu states to be alive and receiving a pension at the age of 104. Now in his 105th year, he is living with his son in Hyderabad.
