CM, Priyank Kharge back India-Pak ceasefire

Bengaluru, May 10 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Minister Priyank Kharge on Saturday welcomed the reported ceasefire announcement between India and Pakistan, while underlining the need for continued vigilance and uncompromising action against terrorism.
Addressing the media after chairing a high-level meeting of Deputy Commissioners, Superintendents of Police, and senior district officials, Siddaramaiah said the ceasefire had been officially announced by the Foreign Secretary following mediation by United States President Donald Trump.
“If both nations commit to the ceasefire, I welcome and fully support it,” he said.
