Governor attended RCB event on official invite: CM Siddaramaiah

Chikkaballapur, June 11 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday reiterated that the Governor of Karnataka, Thaawarchand Gehlot, had been officially invited to the felicitation ceremony of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) players held at the Vidhana Soudha on June 4, jointly by him and the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA).
Addressing a press conference here, Siddaramaiah said, "KSCA and I had invited the Governor to the felicitation ceremony of RCB players held at Vidhana Soudha. He did not attend it on his own."
The clarification comes amid political criticism and confusion surrounding the Governor’s presence at the event.
