Telangana CM’s Native village ‘Kondareddy pally’ becomes South India’s First 100 pc solar-powered village, second in India

Hyderabad, Sep 28 (UNI) The Kondareddy Pally village in Nagarkurnool District, the native place of Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, was on Sunday declared South India’s First 100 per cent Solar Powered Village and second in the country.
Kondareddy Pally, a quiet village, has achieved the rare distinction of becoming India’s second fully solar-powered village, thanks to the Telangana Government’s green energy mission, after Modhera in Gujarat, to be completely solarised.
Spread across Vangoor Mandal in Nagarkurnool district, the project covers 514 houses and 11 government buildings, an official release said here on Sunday.
