Special officers appointed to oversee sanitation for Saraswati Pushkaras

Hyderabad, May 9 (UNI) The Panchayat Raj Department has appointed a team of 50 special officers to oversee sanitation arrangements for the upcoming Saraswati Pushkaras, as per the instructions of Minister for Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Women and Child Welfare, Dr Dhanasari Anasuya Seethakka.
According to the official orders, the appointments include four District Panchayat Officers (DPOs), four District Level Panchayat Officers (DLPOs), 14 Mandal Parishad Development Officers (MPDOs), and 28 Mandal Panchayat Officers (MPOs). These officers have been directed to report to the Collector of Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.
The officers will be responsible for coordinating with field-level staff to ensure proper sanitation and hygiene throughout the Saraswati Pushkaras, a major religious event organized by the government. The department emphasised that the initiative aims to prevent any lapses in cleanliness and to uphold public health standards during the festivities, an official statement said.
