Telangana: SCR Board member Krishnaiah seeks direct train service between Hyderabad & Kutch

Hyderabad, May 8 (UNI): South Central Railway (SCR) Board member and Rajya Sabha MP, R. Krishnaiah, has urged Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to introduce a direct train service between Hyderabad/Secunderabad and Bhuj or Gandhidham in Kutch district of Gujarat.
According to a release issued here today, Krishnaiah wrote to the Railway Minister immediately after receiving a memorandum from representatives of the Prani Mitra Ramesh Jagirdar Memorial Foundation seeking the introduction of the proposed train service.
The MP assured the delegation that he would raise the issue in the Rajya Sabha and make efforts to fulfil the long-pending demand of the Kutch, Gujarati and Jain communities.
