Warangal Railway station to be redeveloped with Rs. 25.41 Cr under ABSS : SCR

Hyderabad, Feb 28 (UNI) South Central Railway (SCR) on Friday said 40 Railway Stations across Telangana are being redeveloped with an estimated cost of Rs 2,737 crores under the 'Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS) to provide modern passenger amenities and convert them into growth centers to the regional Population.
SCR in a release here said, Warangal Railway station which is a major transportation hub, connecting the city to various parts of India , is one of the 40 Railway stations across Telangana which is being redeveloped under ABSS aimed at upgrading railway stations across the country.
With its rich history, cultural significance and modern amenities, Warangal Railway Station falls under Secunderabad Division and is categorized as Non- Suburban Grade-3 (NSG-3).
