Owaisi slams Pakistan’s use of Islam while committing atrocities, says Indian Muslims stand with nation

Hyderabad, May 10 (UNI) All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi strongly condemned Pakistan for spreading falsehoods in the name of Islam and targeting innocent civilians during the holy month.
Speaking at the Telangana Urdu Working Journalists Federation Awards ceremony held at Bashirbagh Press Club on Saturday, Owaisi stated that Islam does not advocate the killing of innocents and children, and that Pakistan has no moral right to invoke Islam while committing such atrocities.
Owaisi declared that Indian Muslims have long rejected the Pakistan theory and are fully devoted to India. “We were born on this land by the grace of God, and we will sacrifice our lives for it,” he said, urging every Indian to reject Pakistan’s divisive ideology.
He also criticised Pakistan’s military for deliberately targeting civilians, particularly during the recent Pahalgam incident, where innocent people were brutally murdered in front of their families. In response, he lauded the Indian Army's counter-offensive through Operation Sindhur, stating that India has no intention of backing down and will respond to attacks with greater force.
Owaisi emphasised that the Pakistani army’s actions amount to genocide in the name of religion and reiterated that Indian Muslims stand firmly with the country and its armed forces.
Telangana Media Academy Chairman K Srinivas Reddy, Government Advisor Mohammed Shabbir Ali and others were present on the occasion.
