CPI Telangana to coordinate with Congress, Left parties in local body elections

Hyderabad, Oct 3 (UNI) Communist Party of India (CPI) Telangana State Secretary and MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao today said the party will move forward in coordination with Congress, CPI(M), and other Left parties on seat adjustments for the upcoming local body elections.
Speaking at a media briefing at Makhdoom Bhavan, Himayatnagar, he said a decision on the party’s participation in local polls and BC reservation matters will be taken at the CPI Rashtra Samithi meeting on October 5, following a court verdict on BC reservations due on October 8.
Sambasiva Rao criticised attempts to mislead the BC community regarding reservations and highlighted that all political parties had approved BC reservation bills in the Legislative Assembly.
