'Bad brothers' hindering Hyderabad's development, says CM Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, Nov 7 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday urged voters of Jubilee Hills to make a thoughtful choice in the by-election, arguing that the city's development stalled after 2014 and blamed political rivals for obstructing progress.
Speaking at a media interaction, he asked residents to compare the work done under Congress rule with the last decade under BRS and the BJP, and said Hyderabad prospered most during 2004-2014 when Congress was in power both at the state and Centre.
The Chief Minister listed several projects — the Outer Ring Road (ORR), Shamshabad Airport, Metro Rail and drinking-water schemes — and said these were conceived and advanced during the Congress tenure. He charged that since 2014, there has been little real development, alleging fiscal mismanagement under the BRS government and large borrowings that left Telangana heavily indebted.
