Telangana: BJP urges EC to bar Congress leader Dayakar from poll campaigning

Hyderabad, May 6 (UNI) Accusing Congress leader Addanki Dayakar of hate speech and using abusive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the BJP on Monday urged the Election Commission of India (ECI) to bar him from further campaign and canvassing in the elections.
In a memorandum submitted to State Chief Electoral officer Vikas Raj, BJP Legal Cell convener Gokula Rama Rao and State secretary Ms Kolli Madhavi stated that Dayakar during the poll campaigning in Nirmal town in Nirmal district of Telangana, used unparliamentary language and abusive language against Modi and Shah.
The Congress leader also insulted the Hindu faith by commenting on the religion, they said that Dayakar, while raising topic of Babri masjid, accused BJP workers of being responsible for its demolition.
