Telangana CM seeks PM’s appointment to discuss BC reservation bills

Hyderabad, Mar 17 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking an appointment to meet him along with leaders from various political parties, including Congress, BRS, BJP, AIMIM, and CPI.
The request follows the Telangana Assembly’s unanimous passage of two significant bills aimed at increasing reservations for Backward Classes (BCs) to 42 per cent in local bodies, education, and employment sectors, an official statement said on Monday night.
In his letter, the Chief Minister emphasised the need for the Centre’s support to implement these bills effectively and urged PM Modi to grant an appointment for the delegation to discuss the matter.

Hyderabad-Hanoi flight delayed for several hours due to tech glitch

Hyderabad, Nov 8 (UNI) A flight from Hyderabad to Hanoi, Vietnam, was delayed for several hours due to technical problems, leaving numerous passengers stranded at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) since Friday night. Flight VN 984, which was originally scheduled to depart at 11:55 PM on Friday, did not take off until 9:00 am on Saturday.
